Julie Quick
Julie has worked in local theatre for the last 30 years and has appeared in productions for most theatre companies in Adelaide, including The Adelaide Rep, Therry Society, St Jude’s Players, Independent Theatre, The Met, Hills Musical Company, Mixed Salad & The Stirling Players. As a change of pace, she played Miss Lynch in the musical Grease for The Met last year. She was nominated as Best Actress in the 2012-13 ATG Curtain Call Awards for the Adelaide Rep’s production of All My Sons (which also won Best Drama). Her favourite roles have been Nat in Rabbit Hole (Mixed Salad Productions), Kate Keller in All My Sons & Truvy in Steel Magnolias (both with Adelaide Rep), Sister Aloysius in Doubt (St Jude's), Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret (Hills Musical Co) & Aunt Eller in Oklahoma (MS Society).
Julie last appeared for The Stirling Players in Beyond Reasonable Doubt in 2004. It’s been "a long time between drinks", and she’s just thrilled to be back with this fabulous company, its wonderful cast, crew & committee. She is also very honoured to be working with Geoff Brittain (at last).
When not onstage, Julie works for an Eastern suburbs real estate company and enjoys visiting my grandchildren in Melbourne.
